Rating: PG-13.
Notes/Warnings:
#01: Drawn as an illustration for Scorching Monotony, part 01 of [info]inell's new series 'Two Men and a Starship'.
Warning: reading that series leads to inevitable addiction to her fanfic ;)
#02: I think I went a bit wild with the shading.

Preview:

'Damn it, Spock. I told you to go back to the ship,” he mutters as another of the beasts pounces on his leg. He tries to shake it off because he’s busy shooting the dozen others that are too close for comfort, but the damn thing has its teeth holding firm into his skin through the his pants. He looks up as Spock reaches them, phaser out and not even a flicker of surprise showing at seeing the things chasing them.' -- Sorching Monotony by Inell.

The week? Has been ridiculously stressful (hence my lack of replies pretty much everywhere. I'm so sorry for that) and to top it off Friday and now Saturday brings me a murderous headache. And of course I can't just call in sick at work, so I went, felt terribly sorry for myself and probably made a fool out of myself.

Bottom line, I took so many pain meds until I could work but now I feel like my head is wrapped up in cotton candy. Interesting but sort of...bah. I can't concentrate on anything at all.

Nevertheless there are some fandom-y fun-things I planned for this weekend:
◊ Keep writing on the fic without a name for [info]summer_sam_love. Has to be done by August 16th.
◊ Post my fic-recs.
Re-work and post my prompt for the Kirk/McCoy fic and art challenge at [info]kirk_mccoy. Somehow I've got the feeling that the picture I drew under the influence of my pain medication isn't going to cut it. - Done! *glee*

One man and his bike...so far )

Notes:
'Jessica was the first love of his life, with her blonde hair and big blue eyes, so it seemed only fitting to name his bike after her. Course, he prefers the bike over some schoolboy crush so maybe it wasn’t the best name, in retrospect. Still, Jessica is waiting for him, all shiny chrome and soft leather.'
From [info]inell's Two Men and a Motorbike series [Adult. Kirk/McCoy]. It's just so good that I had to start illustrating it. The pictures don't do it justice, though.
Colored version to follow. And as soon as he cooperates Bones is to follow as well (but the man is stubborn!).
I hope you enjoy it, Inell by the way, if you imagined the bike looking differently – now is the time to tell me so ;) :)

I tried. I swear I did but finally I gave in and admitted that I'm totally charmed by the new Star Trek film. Once I did that, fanart was inevitable.

Rating: G.
Medium: Ink. Digitally colored with The Gimp.

Speaking of fanart – I started my first sketches. A bit like trying to find my own 'design' for Sam and Dean. Here's the first approach on Dean. It'll be interesting to see how that develops into the 'final' version of him, though I think I got the hair right.
I'm open for constructive criticism.

I have been 'supernaturalized'. Or whatever you like to call it but fact is the Supernatural-fandom has inevitably reached out (more or less), grabbed me and it doesn't look like it plans to let me out of its hands any time soon.

Apart from an appealing mix of mythology, emotional drama, a nice car and really good music, the people amaze me. In fact, I haven't met such a welcoming and friendly fandom-base since my very early days dabbling in the HP-fandom.
